Ingredients
- 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (reserve the icing)
- 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the apple pie filling evenly into the prepared baking dish. Stir in the cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into 4 bite-sized pieces and scatter them evenly over the apples.
- Brush the cinnamon roll pieces with the melted butter.
- Sprinkle with the chopped pecans, if using.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the cinnamon roll pieces are golden brown and cooked through.
- Microwave the reserved icing for about 10 seconds, then drizzle it over the warm cobbler.
