Nana’s Banana Cake

This is my grandmother’s recipe for banana cake, but it can also be baked in loaves. It is super easy and very delicious.

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Eggs
  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Vegetable Oil
  • 4 whole Ripe Bananas
  • 1 box (18.25 Oz. Box) Yellow Cake Mix
  • ½ cups Chopped Pecans Or Walnuts (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325F. Mix together eggs, sugar and oil until well blended. Add mashed bananas, boxed cake mix, and nuts if desired. Bake in a greased and floured bundt pan (or you can use small loaf pans) for 1 hour. Do not over-bake. Allow cake to sit for 20-25 minutes once removed from the oven. Carefully loosen the cake around the sides with a knife and invert onto a large plate or platter to finish cooling. Easy and delicious!
