Snickerdoodle Apple Cobbler

This easy Snickerdoodle Apple Cobbler is the kind of fall dessert you can throw together when you want something warm and homemade without spending all afternoon in the kitchen. Sweet apple pie filling is topped with buttery snickerdoodle cookie crumble and plenty of cinnamon sugar for an easy twist on classic apple cobbler.

Serve it warm right out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a little whipped cream. With just a handful of ingredients, it’s an easy dessert for fall gatherings, Thanksgiving or a cozy night at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 (21 oz) cans apple pie filling
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 (17.9 oz) package snickerdoodle cookie mix, including cinnamon-sugar packet
  • 1 stick (½ cup) butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread both cans of apple pie filling evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Drizzle the lemon juice over the apples and gently stir to combine.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the snickerdoodle cookie mix and melted butter. Stir until a soft, crumbly mixture forms.
  5. Crumble the cookie mixture evenly over the apple filling, leaving a few small gaps for the filling to bubble through.
  6. Sprinkle the included cinnamon-sugar packet evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the apple filling is hot and bubbling around the edges and the snickerdoodle topping is golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Quick Tip

If the cookie topping begins to brown before the apple filling is bubbling, loosely cover the baking dish with foil for the remainder of the baking time.

Serving Suggestion
