Beef Patty Melts

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (make 4 patties)

1 onion, thinly sliced

8 slices bread (rye or sandwich bread)

8 slices provolone or Swiss cheese

2 tbsp butter

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Salt, pepper

Instructions

Form 4 beef patties, season with salt + pepper, cook until done.

In skillet, sauté onions with Worcestershire until caramelized.

Butter bread, layer cheese, patty, onions, cheese, then top bread.

Cook sandwiches on skillet until bread is golden + cheese melted.
