  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese, divided

Optional Toppings

  • Chopped dill pickles
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Diced avocado
  • Diced red onion
  • Extra shredded cheddar cheese
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Remove, crumble and set aside.
  3. Add the ground beef and diced onion to the skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, breaking up the beef as it cooks. When the beef is almost cooked through, add the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Drain excess grease.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Add the cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, smoked paprika and black pepper. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  5. Spread the seasoned beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the top.
  6. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, black pepper and mustard. Stir in 1/2 cup sharp cheddar and 1/2 cup white cheddar.
  7. Pour the egg and cheese mixture evenly over the beef and bacon.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup sharp cheddar and 1/2 cup white cheddar over the top.
  9. Bake for 25–35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the center is set. Baking time may vary slightly depending on your oven.
  10. Let the casserole stand for about 5 minutes before serving. Add your favorite cheeseburger toppings, if desired.

Easy Cheeseburger Topping Ideas

One of the best things about this casserole is that everyone can finish their serving exactly how they like it. Keep it simple or set out a few toppings and let everyone build their own.

Try shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, dill pickles, diced avocado or red onion. A little ketchup or mustard drizzled over the top gives it even more classic cheeseburger flavor.

Tips for the Best Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

Drain the ground beef well so the casserole doesn’t become greasy. Freshly shredded cheese also melts especially well, but bagged shredded cheese works perfectly when you need to keep dinner easy.

Check the casserole around the 25-minute mark. Oven temperatures can vary, so it may need closer to 35 minutes for the center to completely set.

What to Serve With Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

This casserole is hearty enough to serve on its own, especially when you pile on fresh toppings. You can also pair it with a simple green salad, roasted vegetables or another easy low-carb side.

Storage and Reheating

Store leftover Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.
