Easy Ghost Pizza Toasts šŸ‘»šŸ•

Crispy, cheesy little ghost pizzas that are perfect for Halloween lunches, after-school snacks, or spooky movie nights!

Ingredients

  • 6 slices Texas toast or thick Italian bread
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 6 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 12 mini pepperoni slices (optional)
  • 12 small black olive pieces (for the eyes)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Softened butter or cooking spray

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Lightly butter or spray both sides of the bread and place on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 3–4 minutes, just until lightly toasted.
  4. Spread each slice with pizza sauce.
  5. Using kitchen scissors or a small ghost-shaped cookie cutter, cut ghost shapes from the mozzarella slices. Place one ghost on each piece of toast.
  6. Add two tiny black olive pieces for the eyes. If using pepperoni, tuck a few mini slices underneath the ghost so they peek out around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle lightly with Italian seasoning.
  8. Bake for 6–8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the toast is golden around the edges.

Serve warm and enjoy!

Recipe Tip

If you don’t have a ghost cookie cutter, simply trim the mozzarella slices with kitchen scissors into simple ghost shapes. The slightly imperfect edges make them look even cuter once melted! šŸ‘»
