Bang Bang Cauliflower

Crispy roasted cauliflower tossed in a creamy, sweet-and-spicy bang bang sauce makes the perfect appetizer, side dish, or meatless dinner. It’s incredibly easy to make with simple pantry ingredients and comes together in about 35 minutes. Every bite is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in irresistible flavor!

Ingredients

For the Cauliflower

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (more if you like extra heat)
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

For Garnish

  • Sliced green onions
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the cauliflower with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the florets into a single layer and roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy around the edges.
  4. While the cauliflower cooks, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and garlic powder.
  5. Transfer the hot roasted cauliflower to a large bowl and gently toss with about two-thirds of the sauce.
  6. Drizzle with the remaining sauce and garnish with green onions and crushed red pepper flakes before serving.
