Taco Bell-Style Creamy Jalapeño Sauce

Yield: About 1½ cups

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons pickled jalapeño juice
  • 2–3 pickled jalapeños, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Pinch of salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl.
  2. Whisk until completely smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust with additional jalapeño juice if you’d like a little more tang.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving so the flavors can meld.
