Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
- Chopped romaine lettuce (about 1 heart or 2–3 cups)
- 2–3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 can ranch style beans, drained if desired
- Fritos, to taste
- Catalina dressing, to taste
- Shredded cheddar cheese, to taste
Preparation
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Add taco seasoning according to package directions and simmer until well combined. Let cool slightly.
- In a large serving bowl, combine chopped iceberg lettuce and romaine lettuce.
- Add chopped tomatoes and ranch style beans.
- Add the seasoned ground beef.
- Sprinkle generously with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add Fritos just before serving to keep them crunchy.
- Drizzle with Catalina dressing to taste.
- Toss gently and serve immediately.

For the best texture, add the Fritos and Catalina dressing right before serving so everything stays crisp and fresh.
