There’s just something about movie night that calls for easy food you can pile on a plate and eat from the couch. These Mini Cheeseburger Sliders are perfect for exactly that!
They’re made with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, pickles and a simple burger sauce, all tucked inside soft Hawaiian rolls and baked until warm and golden. They’re easy to throw together, everyone can grab their own and there’s very little cleanup afterward — which is exactly what I want on movie night.
Add a bowl of popcorn, something sweet and your favorite movie and dinner is done. ❤️
Makes 12 sliders
Ingredients
- 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian rolls
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ small onion, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices American or cheddar cheese
- Dill pickle slices
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Burger Sauce
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped dill pickles or relish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Add the ground beef and diced onion to a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook until the beef is browned, breaking it into small crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, seasoned salt and black pepper. Remove from heat.
- Mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and chopped pickles together in a small bowl to make the burger sauce.
- Without separating the Hawaiian rolls, slice the entire package horizontally. Place the bottom half in a lightly greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread a thin layer of burger sauce over the rolls. Spoon the seasoned ground beef evenly over the top.
- Arrange the cheese slices over the beef, then add pickle slices.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5–7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
- Cut into 12 individual sliders and serve warm with extra burger sauce for dipping.
