Cream Cheese Salsa Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chunky salsa (mild or medium)
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Fresh chopped cilantro, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Stir in the salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin until well combined.
  3. Fold in ½ cup of the shredded Mexican cheese.
  4. Spread the mixture into a serving dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup shredded cheese over the top.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and cilantro, if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
