Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chunky salsa (mild or medium)
- 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Fresh chopped cilantro, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Stir in the salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin until well combined.
- Fold in ½ cup of the shredded Mexican cheese.
- Spread the mixture into a serving dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup shredded cheese over the top.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and cilantro, if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
