- 1 lb lean ground beef (85/15 or 90/10)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Seasoning Blend
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
Veggies
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup diced onion
- ½ cup diced bell pepper (any color)
- 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ¼ cup diced red onion
- ¼ cup sliced dill pickles
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
Toppings
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- ½ cup burger sauce (or sugar-free burger sauce)
- Yellow mustard (optional)
- Sugar-free ketchup (optional)
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Cook until no longer pink and drain excess grease if needed.
- In the same skillet, heat the olive oil. Sauté the diced onion and bell pepper until softened, about 4–5 minutes.
- Divide the shredded lettuce evenly among four serving bowls.
- Top each bowl with the seasoned ground beef and sautéed vegetables.
- Add the cheddar cheese, bacon, cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, dill pickles, and green onions.
- Drizzle with burger sauce and add mustard or sugar-free ketchup if desired.
- Serve immediately while the beef is warm.
